Intramurals

April 23rd, 2007
MBAA-sponsored “MBA Elite” finished in the Elite Eight this year in Men’s Intramural 4x4 Football. Head Coach Kyle Dittfurth offered his expertise to the MBAs throughout the season,

and along with Coach Jeff Robertson, led the team to multiple victories deep into the playoffs.

The core team consisted of Jesse Durden, Dan Stendahl, Russell Perry, Jonathan Moerbe, John Pritchard, and Brock Roark. After a long season and multiple bruises, scrapes, and

various injuries, the team pulled together and represented the MBAA extremely well. The team anticipates great things for the fall season, so be ready to come out and show your support!

Beta cohort takes a victory!

The Beta-Gamma friendly rivalry game ended up with the Beta cohort coming out on top.  Despite the great efforts of Jeff Robertson, the Gamma cohort could not stand up against the solid numbers of Beta!

Since the first game went to Gamma cohort, standings are now 1 and 1, so we will see what the future holds in deciding which cohort is actually the superior!

We will be holding the annual MBA Follies early this December.  The Follies are put together by the newly elected MBAA & MBA SHOC officers.  SHOC officers are now seeking auction items for the event.  Last year, MBA SHOC raised over $4000 for their auction items.  All proceeds are donated to Family Support Network, a local organization that aids families of children with learning & physical disabilities.  We want to give Family Support Network even more money this year.

Here's how you can help:  offer your services as an auction item.  If you can sew, bake, dance, date, (professionally!) massage, physically train or in any other way offer skills for auction, we would love to hear from you.  Email or speak with any of the MBA SHOC officers (Will, Pam, Lindsey, PJ, Ryan Oatman, Allison, or me) for more information.  Thank you very much for your help!
